ABOUT US
Aer Lingus Swim Club ‘ALSC' is a competitive swimming club for children and young adults primarily based in Sportlink, Santry, which is a fantastic sports facility. The club was founded in 1965, It is one of the most successful Swim Clubs in Dublin, Leinster and Ireland. 

The club offers lessons from the age of 4 years of age, and swimmers can continue their swimming journey with the club from lessons to competitive swimming. ALSC is dedicated to creating swimmers who reach excellence in their sport. To nurture mental strength, courage and tenacity when facing challenges and to reach their full potential. To champion everyone’s right to be happy and healthy in the sport and to encourage our swimmers to carry these values with them in all aspects of their lives. 
Our members are proud to represent their club in a variety of competitions at all levels, from local club level through to regional and national level, with some being selected to represent the country at international level. 
Our volunteer committee is passionate about what they do, whether in a teaching role or support role. Everybody is valued as being part of a team that strive to provide first class teaching / coaching to everyone who chooses to be a member.
The club is registered with the National Body of Swimming Swim Ireland.

Club Structure

Aer Lingus Swimming Club has a structured coaching programme for children of all abilities, with 2 teaching classes and 3 competitive squads. The swimmer commences with weekly swimming sessions in the 4+ squad, Step 1 and 2. Following successful completion, swimmers are introduced to competitive swimming in Stage 1 – B Squad, Stage 2 – Age Group Squad and Stage 3 – Senior Squad. In order to progress through the various stages/squads, swimmers must meet the published Squad Entry Criteria which will be assessed by a designated club coach. The final decision regarding all group progressions lies with the Head Coach.
