The club offers swimming lessons starting from the age of 4, providing a pathway for swimmers to progress from beginner lessons to competitive swimming. ALSC is dedicated to nurturing swimmers who strive for excellence, helping them develop mental strength, courage, and tenacity when facing challenges, and supporting them to reach their full potential. We champion every individual’s right to be happy and healthy in the sport, encouraging our swimmers to carry these values into all aspects of their lives.

Our members proudly represent the club in competitions at all levels - from local club events to regional and national championships - with some selected to represent the country internationally.

Our volunteer committee is passionate about their roles, whether teaching or providing support. Every member of our team is valued, working together to deliver first-class coaching and teaching to all who choose to join. The club’s highly qualified and experienced Coaches and Swim Teachers bring over 60 years of combined technical expertise, patience, communication skills, adaptability, and a deep passion for swimming. They foster trust, motivation, and a love of the sport in all swimmers.

The club is fully registered with the National Body of Swimming, Swim Ireland.
